MAEGA Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MAEGA", "we", "our", or "us") operates the MAEGA mobile applications and web platform (collectively, the "Platform"), which connects customers seeking home and lifestyle services with verified service providers across India.

We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains in detail what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use, share, store, and protect it, and the rights and choices available to you in respect of your data.

This Privacy Policy is published in compliance with: (i) the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011; (ii) the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021; (iii) the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"); and (iv) Google Play Store Developer Programme Policies including the User Data and Permissions policies.

By downloading, installing, accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

• "Customer" means an individual or entity who uses the MAEGA Platform to book home or lifestyle services.
• "Service Provider" means an individual professional registered on the Platform to deliver services to Customers.
• "User" means a Customer or Service Provider, collectively or individually.
• "Personal Data" has the meaning given to the term under the DPDP Act, 2023, and includes any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data.
• "Sensitive Personal Data or Information" (SPDI) has the meaning given under Rule 3 of the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011, and includes financial information, biometric information, and any detail relating to the above.
• "Processing" means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, recording, storage, retrieval, use, disclosure, erasure, or destruction.
• "Data Fiduciary" refers to MAEGA Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which determines the purpose and means of processing Personal Data under the DPDP Act.

• The MAEGA Customer Mobile Application (Android and iOS).
